Thrilling News! We recently found out that Cynthia Page from Cleveland, NC won the MODA award at the 2022 Asheville Quilt Show with her amazing version of the Ring Cycles quilt.  Designed by Lessa Siegele, Cynthia modified the border pattern and used colours to wonderful effect as you can see here.

The Asheville Quilt Show was back in 2022 for the first time in person since 2020 so it was a well anticipated event for many reasons. MODA fabrics is one of the main sponsors of the show and Cynthia was overjoyed that the MODA judges picked her version of the Ring Cycles quilt as their choice for the ribbon winner out of many talented entries.

Cynthia runs the Quilters Gallery in Cleveland, NC. Cynthia and the other co-owner are nicknamed “The Pizza Girls” as they are known for “making kits, coordinating fabrics for maximum impact for each project, and packaging them to look like pizzas”. They also sell hard copy quilt patterns and run quilting workshops.

She had so much fun with the first Ring Cycles quilt that she has started a new one already!
