I just had to share this amazing quilt!
This is a group effort by the Pittsburgh Modern Quilt Group. They designed this quilt or should I say “un-designed” photos of the golden bridges’ that are colloquially called the “sisters” and challenged each member to piece and reconstruct the bridge design. They overcame the common angst that comes with a quilt challenge like this and have created an outstanding piece that I’m sure will become part of Pittsburghs history.
The quilt is made even more spectacular by being a charity quilt.
